Meadows Upper Elementary serves students in grades five and six. We offer a full range of learning experiences including choir, art, computers, band, and physical education, along with a solid core curriculum.  We also offer many after-school activities to enhance learning.

Avondale Meadows Upper Elementary became an official Leadership School this year.  Only 4 other schools in the state are Leadership Schools.  Based on Steven Covey's 7 Habits for Highly Effective Teens, students are learning to take responsibility for their own education and be leaders among their peers.  Individual strengths are celebrated and diversity is embraced as each student is encouraged to be a leader in something. To celebrate their schoolwide Leadership theme, the entire school population dressed in the colors of the rainbow and posed for a picture. RAHCC Conducting the 2009 Parenting Survey  

The Rochester Auburn Hills Community Coalition is conducting the 2009 Parenting Survey in conjunction with the ACHC and other Oakland County Coalitions.  Please take a few minutes to help us "get the pulse" of the community with regards to parenting and substance abuse and other important topics.  In 2007, our RAHCC community response was very strong and the data helped guide County Coalition Leaders in preparing programs.  Once completed and analyzed, we will feature this information at an upcoming RAHCC Meeting this winter.
