What is KidSavers? KidSavers is a program designed to encourage students to save rather than spend their money. Along with the national financial literacy program, our experience has been that the earlier you start, the longer lifetime benefits you receive. MSU Federal Credit Union introduced the KidSaver program 5 years ago, and we have grown to over 500 accounts. Helping children develop saving skills that will last a life time is our goal. How does it work? Children can open an account as well as make deposits through Auburn Elementary. They can earn prizes through various incentives throughout the school year, plus receive a birthday postcard from the credit union redeemable for a gift. When you send in your child's weekly deposit, please remember to place it in an envelope with the student's name, amount of deposit, account number, and teacher's name. This is a must for our accountability! Who is MSU Federal Credit Union? MSU Federal Credit Union is the largest university based credit union in the world. They have been serving the Avondale community since 1980. To learn more about MSU Federal Credit Union, please go to their website at www.msufcu.org |
